costbenefit asked: Re: Nashville Recs. Swing across the river and scope out the east side of town. There are some solid record and vintage stores over there. And do yourself a huge favor and get Tom's Elite Catering for lunch. It's your standard meat+3 but so, SO, good. If you need a good hungover brunch spot, skip all those Vandy favorites (Pancake Pantry, etc.) as they're not worth their waits....
Just remember there’s a fine line between “breaking sartorial rules” and “looking like a fucking moron.”
lifepiledonlife asked: For Nashville: Broadway St is the main area for nightlife activities, almost anywhere is fun. Just a couple blocks down is Dan McGuinness Pub at 16th and Demonbreun St. It's pretty big downstairs and upstairs is dance floor and outdoor patio area. Every Friday they have a video dance party! And for touristy things, go to the Parthenon in Centennial Park, just NW of Vandy. Cheers!

Heading to Nashville next weekend for Pi Kapp Senior Trip. While I’m sure a fair amount of our time—the evenings, at least—will be spent in the area’s watering holes, we’re still curious of stuff to do during the day.
Do any of my followers have recommendations? We’ll be staying around Vandy.
