Anonymous asked: Do you miss the frat house? What's the new accomodation like?
As noted, I attend Miami University. Typically, one lives on campus his freshman year, moves in to the fraternity house for sophomore and junior years, and lives in an annex house with other brothers his senior year. This is what I chose to do.
At times, I do miss the fraternity house. I miss living with 30+ of my best friends; I miss the random nights playing Mario Kart until 4:00 AM; I miss the random shenanigans of pranks.
Things I don’t miss, however, are no toilet paper (happens more often than you think), loud music, or the temptation to not do work because the rest of the guys are doing something more fun. Given the proximity to the fraternity house, however, and the fact we consistently have guys over to just hang out, it has still been a fun year and I very much like living in the annex.
